UK Book Binders are based in modern premises in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset. Our location provides close access to the motorway network at junction 21 of the M5.
We offer a reliable, friendly service and pride ourselves on our excellent reputation for quality workmanship and customer service. Our staff has a wealth of knowledge within the print and book binding industry and benefit from a combined experience that exceeds 250 years.
Our Multiplex sewing line offers us one of the largest thread sewing capacities in the country and we are pleased to provide estimates for thread sewing and your additional binding requirements, whether PUR, Perfect or Burst/Slot bound. We can offer advice on laydowns, gutters & trims and provide impositions when necessary. We can provide complicated and unusual impositions for binding 2up, 3up & 4up if the finished size of your book calls for it.
We have stringent quality control procedures in place to ensure work is checked throughout all finishing procedures. All our machinery has Optigraph signature recognition units and detectors on all hoppers to check on missed or doubled sections.
The factory operates from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday although a 7 day week is often worked if production schedules demand it. Our workforce is very flexible and time sensitive jobs can be handled without a problem.
